Ever since I was a kid, my local dream destination is Baguio. So, when I was given a chance to represent our university on a convention happened in Baguio last 2016, I couldn’t contain my excitement. It was one opportunity of a lifetime to go there all expense paid. However we had a limited time going to its tourist’s spots because we are too focused on the convention. So I promised myself that when I have a job, I will go back in Baguio. Indeed, heavens are too kind for me and my promised was fulfilled last October 12, 2019 almost three years after my first visit not to attend some sort of seminar or convention but to celebrate 5th anniversary with my boyfriend. We spent two days and one night there and every second there was worth it.
Back in August, we started to look for an affordable transient house where we will stay there. We found out that the expenses are more expensive when we will travel all by ourselves. Every tourist spots there are too far from each other and we need to hail a cab just to get in there. It was September when we started to look for an affordable travel and tours company. Travelsure Travel &T is our companion during the whole trip.
Me and my boyfriend were so called “joiners” for this trip but that was okay for us. We tend to know other people and meet new friends. Our meeting place was in McDonald’s beside Trinoma and at exactly 1:30AM was the start of the long drive going to Baguio.
That long drive was totally worth when we arrive in Baguio. The cold morning breeze greeted us which we are expected because this city is known for it’s cold weather. It was my second time there and it truly feel magical. Maybe because it is one of my top local destination or the city itself was too beautiful and we enjoyed our stay there.
Baguio is a paradise that truly exceeded my expectation. Every inch of it I may say can serve as an inspiration from those different sceneries and the nature itself. Travel with me via these moments that were captured by lens. Enjoy!

Coffee has been part of our lives, the smell, the aroma and even the relaxation that it gives to us. There are times that coffee might be beneficial but unfortunately, your cup of coffee may not be as healthy as you think. Coffee contains acids, which causes gastrointestinal disorders and also contains Nicotine that is really addictive. With that said, switching to a low-acid coffee is now a trend.
Good thing that there is Nitro 7 Coffee and Tea Bar: a coffee retail brand that serves nitrogen-infused coffee and tea products. Black Nitro is an 18-hour cold brew coffee that’s later on infused with nitrogen gas. It has a full-bodied flavor with very low acidity. Low –acid coffee is known to be mild for your stomach and reduces chances of Insomnia. You can enjoy your favourite drink without getting the bad side effects of it.
Nitro 7 Coffee & Tea Bar also serves Milk Tea but still it gives highlight to the Nitro coffee and it’s goodness.
As the time goes by they are now serving light lunches that will not just feed your eyes but it also makes your tummy full
Their Hot Pressed Sandwiches and Wrap and roll is worth every single penny. Using prime ingredients they were able to serve topnotch dishes without breaking the bank

Hi! It’s been a while since I last posted in my little space in the internet. I miss it actually. Time flies so fast, and I didn’t realized that it’s been almost four months since the last update. I just lay down in my bed after work and I thought that it would be nice to write a new entry. Best time also to kick off my series – “What’s up? : Life lately”.
Basically this series will be a random update of what happened with my life, I would like this blog to have a personal touch in it. This is also a way to know me better, knowing the snippets in my life and everything in between. Starting off with….
1.New Work
New opportunities, new environment, new friendships, new knowledge and wisdom – those are the answers that we commonly say when someone is trying to ask, “Why do you left your previous job?” For those who knew me, I left my job last February 18, 2019 as a Sales Executive in an IT company. I cannot contain the pressure and the stress that I’ve through for my three months stay there. Yes, you’ve read it right, I just stayed there for only three months and I think, handing my resignation that day was the one of the best decision that I’ve made because I am now employed where I can feel that I have a purpose, that I can enjoy even in the stressful situations, and most importantly I can see my career path here. Hashtag no regrets.
2. Avengers: Endgame
Three words: I love it. I can say that this is the greatest movie that I’ve watched so far. This is the conclusion of Infinity Saga that consists of 22 movies. I can’t even believe that I’ve literally cried in the cinema while watching. It’s also my first time watching a movie twice in a cinema, considering that I am a pop culture handicapped. (I admit). This movie is not just a remarkable movie it’s also a roller-coaster experience. My love for Captain America and basically to the Avengers just got stronger. I am actually happy and satisfied that way it was ended. It may be a combination of happiness, celebration and heartbreak, but always remember, “Part of the journey is the end.
3. Mother’s Day Celebration
It’s my first time to celebrate Mother’s Day with my boyfriend’s mother. We just ate at Megamall and bought a gift for my mother. It was a prescription glasses that we got on sale at EO. That might be cheap for some, but the smile that I’ve seen from my mother’s face when the EO personnel handed the glasses was priceless.
4. Travel to Tagaytay
Too many firsts in this post! This is my first time to travel with college friends. It was just a weekend getaway that was planned months ago. I am looking forward to the next adventure with them.
5. BLACKPINK in your area (WHAT?)
I almost asked myself, where I am because I don’t know this group. Technically I know that this group exists however I don’t know how awesome they are. God their songs are on repeat on my phone, also I binged watch their videos on Youtube. So far Lisa Manoban, is my favourite. She got the swag! (If you know what I mean)
So here it is! Back to work tomorrow. Time to grind ourselves to work for our future. I am planning to post a Life lately entry once a month (hopefully).
So how was your life so far? Let me know on the comment section below.
2018
is a one roller coaster journey for me as they say. I found my good
paying job and eventually leave it. Opened a personal bank account
and used those savings in my medication. Got sick and back in shape.
Despite of that, I am truly grateful that I was able to surpass those
obstacles, and the past year thought a lot of things that I could
think of and I am sharing these things that I’ve learned from 2018.
-
Everything is temporary. All the pain, sadness and grief that we feel make us all human. It will be gone eventually.
-
Self care is not selfish. Invest and come up with a skin care routine. Your 40 year old self will thank you for that.
-
Not everything is about you. What you do or say has effect to others. Be sensitive enough to other people’s feelings.
-
Forgive and forget. It’s more of forgive and learn a lesson from it.
-
If you are being rejected, it is the way of the universe to lead us in the place that meant for us. Trust the universe, and it’s timing
-
You cannot please everyone. We do not need other people’s validation just for us to feel that we are worthy. We must know our worth. Don’t go too low on the things that we do not deserve.
-
Stop the comparison game. The only thing that you compare with yourself is just yourself. Does it make sense? Always aim for the things to be the best version of yourself.
-
In everything that we do, always put your best foot forward.
-
Surround yourself with positive people.
-
I know that life could be so overwhelming. Be it on work, school or even personal matters, things will get out of hand; just take a moment to breathe. Take a break. Just relax, watch your favourite TV show or K-drama or take a minute to walk with your pet. Do things that will make you feel good and once done, you’ll be motivated again.
-
Save. Do I need to say more?
-
Do what your heart desires. You will be more motivated in doing thing/s that you love.
-
Step out on your comfort zone.
-
Know your priorities. Set the huge chunk of your time to the things that are most important.
-
Before, I am a firm believer of “thinking about my future”. This is right actually. We always think about the future and all of the things that we do is because of it. But now, I’ve learned not to think about the things that are not yet happening and to live in the present moment. Don’t let the future control us, sometimes we need to go the flow of now and this ‘now’ will lead us to the future that we want to be.
-
Have patience. All great achievements requires time.
-
Keep it real. This time, social media is dominating to the lives of some right? What we post on Instagram for example is the best version of ourselves or the things that we want other people to see. The thing is we don’t need to change or trying to imitate other people just to hit likes to our post. Authenticity is always important. Just be real and be good on the inside and it will shine through on the outside.
This might be late for a year
ender post, but it’s better to be late than never right? What are
the things that you’ve from the past year? Let me know on the
comments below.
Today obviously marks the first day of the year and this is also the day that I’ve been waiting for- to have a formal (or not so formal) post here in my small space in internet and I would love to share with you my 2019 resolutions.
As the year starts, and the new chapter of our lives, everyone has a chance to start anew. But for me, this year was different. This will be a transition year for me, everything has changed on a blink of an eye, everything has torn apart and as for everyone who knew me, 2018 ended not so good for me (will do separate post about it).
For everything I’ve got through last year, it made me a stronger person. I’m still here. I survived challenges because of Him, and I’m truly grateful. He gave me strength to keep going; and I know, for everything that has ended, there is a room for new beginnings.
This year, 2019 I will:
1. Travel
2. Save
3. Create
-Books
-Photography
-Art
4. Be Consistent
-Blog posts
-Story in Wattpad
-Work
5. Write something everyday
6. Read
-Two books every month (self help/fiction books)
7. Go to church every week
8. Do self care
-Meditate
9. Do something productive everyday
10. Make a difference
-Help a stranger
-Volunteer
