Baguio City 2019 | Travel Diaries

Ever since I was a kid, my local dream destination is Baguio. So, when I was given a chance to represent our university on a convention happened in Baguio last 2016, I couldn’t contain my excitement. It was one opportunity of a lifetime to go there all expense paid. However we had a limited time going to its tourist’s spots because we are too focused on the convention. So I promised myself that when I have a job, I will go back in Baguio. Indeed, heavens are too kind for me and my promised was fulfilled last October 12, 2019 almost three years after my first visit not to attend some sort of seminar or convention but to celebrate 5th anniversary with my boyfriend. We spent two days and one night there and every second there was worth it.

Back in August, we started to look for an affordable transient house where we will stay there. We found out that the expenses are more expensive when we will travel all by ourselves. Every tourist spots there are too far from each other and we need to hail a cab just to get in there. It was September when we started to look for an affordable travel and tours company. Travelsure Travel &T is our companion during the whole trip.

Me and my boyfriend were so called “joiners” for this trip but that was okay for us. We tend to know other people and meet new friends. Our meeting place was in McDonald’s beside Trinoma and at exactly 1:30AM was the start of the long drive going to Baguio.

That long drive was totally worth when we arrive in Baguio. The cold morning breeze greeted us which we are expected because this city is known for it’s cold weather. It was my second time there and it truly feel magical. Maybe because it is one of my top local destination or the city itself was too beautiful and we enjoyed our stay there.

Baguio is a paradise that truly exceeded my expectation. Every inch of it I may say can serve as an inspiration from those different sceneries and the nature itself. Travel with me via these moments that were captured by lens. Enjoy!
